An elementalist skill that requires /e to be be used. Nice try, but any experienced observant PvE player will tell what most already know. This isn't going to go anywhere.

I use health runes (survivors, vitae and a superior vigor) with a minor FC rune. I don't find many of the Mesmer's armor options to be very good except may be Virtuoso's in PvE. Also, I wouldn't use any Radiant or Attunements for either PvE or PvP general play. The builds that *absolutley need* Radiant and/or Attunements are usually farming builds.

For nrg management in PvE I find that Glyph of Lesser Energy works all right. Otherwise you can bring Arcane Echo and spec into inspiration for Auspicious Incantation to use in combo for energy back. I prefer glyph though because it's simpler to use and doesn't suffer from enchant removal.

In PvP, I highly recommend putting pts into inspiration for drain enchantment and power drain. May be an attunement here or there if you want but I'd rather just use a high set.

Yes, I figured if you're saying mesmers have great energy management, that you were trying to say that has a great recharge and effect.

GoLE is not ele's strong e-management, at least by itself. Eles and rit's stronger management (barring Renewal brokenness) depends on them actually playing their class (attunements, spirit-dependent energy), and necros just have it built in to their attribute. Mesmer inspiration is balanced around the fact that most classes (esp monks) can exploit it, and is therefore necessarily weaker.

You can make do with several mesmer e-manage slots, but I can't help but feel most builds I'd be better off running necro primary. Of course same could be said about most elementalist builds too, since their damage is supposedly not the point.

Most mesmer energy managment skills have also an additional effect, like energy drain, enchantment remove or interrupt. But due to the some design flaws of PvE (especially HM) those effects are not as useful as they should be.
